The powerfull explosion-protected portable
searchlights SEB 10 are in accordance
to the ATEX-Directive 94/9/EG and have therefore been certified for usage in the Zones 1, 2,
21 and 22 up to temperature class T4. Their use
is permitted in nearly any area where the hazard
of an explosive atmosphere exists. They have
been developed for inspection, maintenance
and repair operations in hazardous explosive
atmospheres. Due to their robust construction
and the high IP65 safety standard they can
be used in nearly any work area subject to high
mechanical stress and high humidity. Five light
emitting diodes provide continuous information
on the current operating and charging state,
plus it will also “warn” you in due time when the
battery capacity is low or it needs to be replaced.
The electronics additionally protect against
excessive discharging as well as overcharging –
only the amount of energy that has been used
will be replaced. This increases the service life
of the battery.
